#540: Ambidextrous Constellation
In AMBIDEXTROUS CONSTELLATION Andrew Liles and Reinier van Houdt sketch a world, seemingly flat, in which the positions on either side of a gun are interchangeable and the gun itself becomes an inanimate object, a cold functional tool designed to do a specific task without consideration of its real world consequences. A machine without morality or judgement.
For this radio play they camped out for a week in the WORM STUDIO and embarked on a British-Dutch standoff, using every machine in the house. Assisted by Ash Kilmartin, who narrated throughout, they created a radio play using lists of gun specifications, transcripts of experiences of gunshot victims and some short texts by Henri Michaux.
