Conductor, composer and pianist Duke Ellington (1899-1974), part 63. Part 2 dedicated to concert recordings from February 1963 in the Olympia theatre in Parijs. The orchestra is in great shape, as often in France where jazz was early on appreciated as an important innovative music style.
