‘Mama’ Tina Ka’apana
In this 3rd episode we focus on the ‘Godmother’ of the family Ka’apana ‘Mama’ Tina Ka’apana. Together with her husband, she was (they themselves were inspired by their parents) the source of inspiration for the trio Hui ‘Ohana, the extraordinary successul trio of both of her sons Ledward and Nedward Ka’apana with their cousin Dennis Pavao. First giving modest support to a gramophone record of the trio, but immediately after that 2 own solo LPs. This 3rd part is dedicated to these original Hawaiian songs which produce splendid melodies.
