In this last edition of our musical travel agency, we leave the European continent and visit cities on the other continents. So still a free trip to the capitals of the world without ever having to leave the house, simply by turning on the Concertzender on your radio or computer. Please excuse us for not finding anything musical on Mawson or McMurdo, two of the research settlements on Antarctica. And Australia is also missing. There’s always next time. We do of course visit North America, with songs on American cities and villages you could fill an entire episode with. We limit ourselves to lesser-known pieces or revamped known work. We also include South and Central America, Asia and the Middle East. We end our journey in Africa, after which it’s time to go home. No wonder our last song has a double meaning.
