Soul Jazz from the fifties, sixties and seventies: SOUL BY GRANT GREEN, the final part of a two-part series about the soul and funk jazz period of guitarist Grant Green.

In this period, Green tried to reach a wider audience with a number of slick records. In the meantime, he also played on records of gritty colleagues like Rusty Bryant and dived deeply into the funk groove at live performances.
