Today THE SOUL OF SONNY STITT, the second episode of a three-part series on tenor and alto saxophonist Sonny Stitt. Stitt regularly played in an organ combo and got along particularly well with organist Don Patterson and his regular drummer Billy James. Today, recordings from the sixties, mainly by the Prestige label.
