The American female guitar player Emily Remler (1957-1990) was discovered by colleague Herb Ellis and was generally considered as a phenomenon. Her promising career came to an abrupt end during a tour in Australia. She was only 32 years old. Today recordings of her quartet including piano player Hank Jones from 1981.
