Tenor saxophone player and composer Benny Golson (1929) part 6. After the successful ‘Turning Point’ from October and November (which was the focal point last week) he recorded another quartet album entitled ‘Free’ in December of the same year which was just as good as its predecessor. The rhythm section existed of: piano player Tommy Flanagan, bass player Ron Carter and percussion player Art Taylor.
