Clark Terry-Bob Brookmeyer Quintet, part 1. A remarkable combination at first sight: Terry (1920), the exuberant, bluesy trumpet player and Brookmeyer (1929), the sensible, intellectual valve trombone player. The collaboration was a huge success judging the countless concerts and recordings from 1964, 1965 and 1966.
