The American alto saxophone player Julian ‘Cannonball’ Adderley (1928-1975) part 3. In the 50s and 60s he was one of the most prominent hard bop musicians. His energetic and ‘bluesy’ phrasing are still legendary. Today we will hear him with 2 other celebrities: first with trumpet player Miles Davis in 1958 and next with tenor player John Coltrane in 1959.
