Part XXVIII
In 1824, Hummel doesn’t go on a concert trip, but stays at home in Weimar, where both him and Goethe has become somewhat of a tourist attraction because of their fame. He does prepare for a bold move: a concert trip to spoiled Paris for the upcoming year. He also writes pieces he’ll want to perform. His piano works often have a hint of nationalism.
