The American jazz big band Secret Society is led by composer Darcy James Argue. This orchestra with 18 musicians plays narrating theatrical music which is often combined with lyrics and visual elements. You can listen to their former production ‘Brooklyn Babylon’ from 2013 which was performed among other places at the Bimhuis in Amsterdam. On next 23 and 24 June, they perform in the Holland Festival in the Stadsschouwburg in Amsterdam with their new music theatre production ‘Real Enemies’, highly recommended!
