Dutch pianist / composer / orchestra leader Michiel Braam (1964). He is one of the most prominent figures in the contemporary Dutch jazz scene. With his great technique and large frame of reference, he is one of Europe’s most interesting contemporary pianists. Today, a solo performance from 2004, recorded at the Loft club in Cologne. To be noted is that he will turn 50 in May this year, which will be celebrated with a concert at the Lindenberg in Nijmegen on 17 May 2014, an event involving more than 20 musicians.
