You will hear an interview as well as music from his latest CD ‘Solo Game’. Sullivan Fortner was born in New Orleans, studied at the Oberlin Conservatory and Manhattan School of Music under Jason Moran, among others. He was the regular pianist in Roy Hargrove’s group for several years. He is now a highly sought-after accompanist for female singers and a pianist with a unique personal style.
