The voice of Lebanon.

A journey to Lebanon with the legendary Nihad Haddad, better known as Fairouz (the turquoise). She is called that way because her voice is more beautiful than a turquoise. Fairouz is the most important singer from Lebanon. Nobody else (except for Oum Kolsoum) was as loved in the Arabic world. She has a career of 50 years behind her. We will play different songs from the peak of her career, between the fifties and seventies. The compositions are a.o from Rahbani Brothers, Philmone Wehbe and the Egyptian Mohamed Abdel-Wahab.
