One hour of browsing through early music, with an accent on Masses. Claudio Monteverdi, born 450 years ago – a new era, part 2: the time of the San Marco in Venice.

Part 2 focuses on Monteverdi’s appointment to the San Marco basilica in Venice, in 1613. We will listen to ‘Lamento d’Arianna’, the madrigal ‘Combattimento di Tancredi e Clorinda’ and parts of ‘Selva Morale e Spirituale’.
