The baroque spirit in all his musical shapes. In the Baroque era, the profession of musician was more a craft than an art for many who practised it. You could learn it, and it often passed from father to son or daughter. Entire families could work in the profession, Bach being the most famous example. Today we listen to the Scarlatti family, with father Alessandro and son Domenico.
