Electronic music in the Netherlands in the 1950s and 1960s went through an early and unique development, partly thanks to pioneers like Henk Badings, Dick Raaijmakers and Tom Dissevelt. This period coincided with the rise of electronic music studios in Europe, such as in Cologne and Paris.
