Master pianist Geoffrey Madge and Concertzender’s Louis Thörig share views on remarkable musicians past and present.

Listen Sunday morning 16 May between 10 and 11 am to the programma Madge-point on  The repetition will be broadcast on Thursday morning 20 May between 11 and 12 am. Due to the pandemic, this episode as well was recorded without Louis Thörig and not in Marco Wensveen’s studio but in Geoffrey’s.
Episode 187 will focus on two Russian masterpieces, first piano concertos played by the composers themselves: Nikolai Medtner en Dimitri Shostakovich.

2. Shostakovich, Concerto no 1 in C minor opus 35. Dimitri Shostakovich, piano and
