“Mariama”, a programme with African music. A tribute to Ethiopian music.
Today again attention for the double CD ‘The Very best of Éthiopiques’.
This is a compilation of the 23-part Éthiopiques series, a monumental piece of work that is still growing because of the inexhaustible input of producer Francis Falceto.
In this Mariama music by singers Minyeshu, who is currently living in the Netherlands, Gigi, and Bole 2 Harlem, a fusion band with musicians from America and Ethiopia.
