The longest day is approaching and in the Netherlands we will be in the middle of the festival season. And just like all too often in the Netherlands, one day there is nothing and the next day everything happens at once…
On Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 June the Festival Mundial will take place in Tilburg. But there will be another two festivals with a world-music accent on Sunday 21 June: the Haarlemmerhout Festival in Haarlem and Roots Open Air in Amsterdam. In the weekend of 27 and 28 June there will also be the Africa Festival in Hertme.
In this episode a selection of (of course) only the African groups that will perform at these festivals.
