This episode of Metamorphosis is completely dedicated to music from Brittany. Music is a important cornerstone of the Breton culture. The revival of the traditional folk music has moved rapidly since the seventies.
Popular nocturnal dance parties the Fest Noz – and festivals like the one in Lorient, have transformed and revitalized the tradition.In this episode you will hear a selection of music from Brittany: from traditional songs and dance music to cabaret-jazz. A small tribute to a living tradition.
