Singer Alger Alexander (1900-1954) sang in the streets of Texas; blues including the text that usually precedes the blues. Very liberal and accompanied by a random guitarist. By the name of Texas Alexander he made impresssive recordings from 1927 never before broadcast. We will now hear recordings of him from June 1930 and onward.
