Moanin’ the Blues

In 1928 Mississippi John Hurt (1893-1966) traveled from Mississippi to New York twice to record six 78 RPM records in total. After that nothing was heard from him musically, until 35 years later when he was found again. He started performing again and recorded new albums, this time they were LP’s. In this broadcast we will play a recording of a concert from 15 April 1965 for you.
