Drummer Haye Jellema.
From 1999 till 2005 Haye studied jazz drumming and school music at the Amsterdam conservatory. He received his education from many teachers, for instance Martijn Vink, Marcel Serierse, Lucas van Merwijk and Gerhard Jeltes. But that’s not all. He also trained with big names like Peter Erskine and Jeff Ballard. On top of that he followed many workshops with several Latin-American, Asian and African drummers and percussionists. He plays with many great names in different bands and a great variety of styles. Ever since he graduated he is been teaching percussion techniques at the Conservatory in Amsterdam. As a musician you can often hear him playing with Sven Ratzke, Mathilde Santing, The Metropole Orchestra, Ellen ten Damme, VinnieVibes and the Konrad Koselleck Bigband.
