New Folk Sounds on Air

In New Folk Sounds on Air, ninety minutes in which the Concertzender gives voice to the new edition of Dutch music magazine New Folk Sounds for folk, roots and world music. In edition 133, you can find articles about the Dromen van Johanna (Dreams of Johanna) project by Ernst Jansz and the Piaf project by Martha Wainwright.
An interview with Luka Bloom, who is touring the Netherlands this month, and with The Old Crow Medicine show and Herbert Bartmann.
Details are given of a special homage to Dutch singer Hans Sanders by Bots, a book review of De reiziger about Belgian musician Dirk van Esbroeck who passed away recently, and a story about Norwegian musician Karl Seglem. Also, of course, a selection of the large amount of CDs that were discussed.
