Northern Lights: Scandinavian and Baltic music.
In Northern Lights, every fortnight we devote an hour exclusively to Scandinavian and Baltic music. There are no limits to our search, through old and new, known and less known. And we also like to include the whole spectrum of classical music and crossovers. With today’s work from Estonia and Lithuania. First a spiritual work by the Estonian Toivo Tulev from 2007 and then works by the young Lithuanian Raminta Šerkšnytė with as apotheosis her meditative work ‘for sunset and dawn’ on texts by the Indian philosopher and mystic Tagore.
