In this hour a new special CD with early music is featured.
La Nascita del Violoncello, by Bruno Cocset and his Les Basses Réunies, part 1.

On this first CD from the brand new French label AgOgique, cellist Bruno Cocset plays sonatas and ricercares by Domenico Gabrielli, as well as compositions by his fellow Italians Tomaso Antonio Vitali and Giuseppe Maria Jacchini.
Cocset plays low string instruments, all made by Charles Riché after instruments from the time of compositions, around 1689.
