Arranger / pianist George Handy (1920-1997) became known for his striking arrangements for Boyd Raeburn’s experimental orchestra in the mid 40s. After that he disappeared from the scene completely, only to return in the 50s with an orchestra of his own with which he produced two records. The recordings are from 13, 14 and 22 April 1955.
