Qawwali is a age-old form of sufi religious music from South Asia.The term Qawwali stands for the singing of a quawwal, somebody who repeatedly sings a qual or a statement of the prophet Mohammed.Qawwali originated in 8th century Persia and was transferred in the 11th century to countries in South Asia.
