Part two of an informative programme about the Qawalli, a mystical brotherhood of the Soefies.
Among Soefies the custom arose that the Sama (or meetings) were accompanied by songs that were sung by a qawal (minstrel) to honour Allah.
In this hour you will hear the famous Qawalli singer Haji Ghulam Farid Sabri, his brothers and offspring, all professional singers of this genre.
