A raga that is characterized by many decorations and inserts. Amjad Ali Khan (on Sarod) is accompanied by: – Pandit Fateh Singh Gangani on pakhawai, – Ustad Rashid Mustafa on tabla & Matista Baxi on tampoera.
Mian-ki Malhar can be performed at any time during the rainy season or, alternatively, around midnight.
