Featuring a never-before-heard rendition of the Chinese evergreen Moonlight Over the Spring River, this selection of songs showcases a rarely seen virtuosity of the pipa and mastery of the Chinese musical tradition.
Pipa master Lin Shicheng is often referred to as the Ravi Shankar of the pipa. Lin was the teacher of most of the world’s leading pipa players, including Gao Hong.
