Dastan Trio.
On this album Journey to Persia, the Dastan Trio plays compositions by their own musicians: Hamid Motebassem (on tar and setar), Hossein Behroozi-Nia (on barbat) and Behnam Samani (on percussion). Plus some traditional Iranian folk music.

Zarbang Ensemble.
One of the leading percussion ensembles in the world, founded in 1996 in Germany by Behnam Samani, with the aim of introducing Iranian percussion to an international audience and fusing its unique sound with instruments from other cultures. The Zarbang Ensemble is currently composed of some of the best percussionists from Iran, Azerbaijan and Italy.
