Today we pay attention to the music by Boris Kovac. Kovac is born in the Serbian province Vojvodina, a meeting place for different cultures. This cultural diversity can be retraced in his compositions. He combines traditional folk music from various cultures with elements from jazz and classical music. Kovac distinguishes 3 phases in his musical development; House, Away and Being. In this broadcast, we follow Kovac’s musical development on the basis of this threeway split.
