Several months ago, the announcement came that, after 25 years, a third season of television series Twin Peaks would be produced and broadcasted. In the early nineties the series meant the break-through for David Lynch with the general public. Consequently he managed to get a loyal group of followers thanks to beautiful but mysterious films like Lost Highway and Mulholland Drive. His films’ soundtracks are often as legendary as the film they belong to and they have inspired many musicians. Lynch has always been closely involved in the composing and compiling of the soundtracks and he often worked together with composer Angelo Badalamenti.
