It is the year of Celine Dion’s enormous Titanic hit ‘My Heart Will Go On’ and the year of the hit ‘Believe’ by Cher the auto tuner, a device for fixing off key tones. And since we are talking about Cher: her former partner Sonny Bono passed away in 1998, just like Austrian singer Falco and Rob Pilatus, the other half of Milli Vanilli.
