Peter Zinovieff is more an inventor than a musician. But still, an extensive compilation of his electronic music has recently been released. Electronic Calendar / The EMS Tapes contains a lot of experiments, some of which were recorded in his home studio in his garden shed. Important note: together with Tristram Cary and David Cockerell Zinovieff founded Electronic Music Studios (EMS), the synthesizer company responsible for the legendary Synthi 100 and Putney synthesizers.
