CCRadio Part 2: Net label – Impulsive Habitat. CC-radio dives into the world of net labels and Creative Commons licensed music. A special world full of passionate musicians and devotees. Today includes artists like Son Clair, Claudio Curciotti and Edu Comelles.
Impulsive Habitat has become known by album releases in the area of field recordings. Much of the work on this label is pure but there is also work that is based on field recordings which are converted into ‘new music’. Like for example the album that starts this hour on which recordings were made in one museum and subsequently were played in another museum.
For example the final number joins all sorts of ‘trainspotting’ recordings together and in its stratification a dream journey was made which never took place.
