Music from the 18th and 19th century. This episode is devoted to Franz Beck. This hour features orchestral works and works for keyboard instruments.

Franz Beck (1723-1809) was born in Mannheim, Germany, and was Johann Stamitz’s student. He stayed in Italy for some years, where he studied under Baldassare Galuppi. After that, he settled in France; he played an essential role in Marseille’s musical life.
