On 18 March 2020 Jordi Savall will play in De Doelen in Rotterdam. Together with his ensembles Hespèrion XXl & La Capella Reial de Catalunya and musicians from Africa and South America he will play the programme ‘The routes of slavery’. Savall has created an arrangement of music around the theme of the slave routes from 1444 to 1888, the year in which slavery was abolished in Brazil.
