Slipped Through the Net

Driven by incontrollable wanderlust, multi-instrumentalist Luigi Cinque composed an orchestra with musicians from all corners of the world: the Tarantula Hypertext Orchestra. There are some big names in this orchestra, like duduk player Djivan Gaspariyan, Sephardi Jewish cantor Emil Zrihan and trumpet player Paolo Fresu. ‘Tangerine Café’, the album he made with the group, forms a kaleidoscopic palette with exotic sounds, where needed updated with samples and other electronics.
