Of all Belgian squeezebox players, Didier Laloy is undoubtedly the greatest virtuoso, and as composer he is also considered one of the best internationally. Just like his Flemish colleague Wim Claeys, he apprenticed himself to the French squeezebox pioneer Bruno Le Tron. The three of them formed the trio Tref but this broadcast centres around Laloy: music of the CD S-Tres and live recordings of his ‘carte blanche’ during the Festival d’Art de Huy.
