Nynke Laverman had her breakthrough with Frisian fados, but then gained inspiration by travelling to Mexico and Mongolia. Her latest album ‘Alter’ came about with the cooperation of flamenco guitarist and producer Javier Limón.
Sam Lee from London travelled around the world to then plunge into the British folk tradition and thoroughly work on it, judging his debut record ‘Ground of its Own’.
During Pentecost weekend both artists are to be seen live at the Music Meeting in Nijmegen.
