The world of Jonathan Day.

English singer and guitar player Jonathan Day describes his work as ‘contemporary music of the countryside from Shropshire’. That sounds a lot like folk, but is really about self-written songs that only refer to the rural tradition indirectly. Highly personal and probing as well, partly thanks to Day’s deep resonating baritone that reminds one more than once of the American bard John Gorka.
