Slipped Through The Net

Marvin Etzioni [picture] was once the bass player for the alternative country band Lone Justice. Now that he has gone solo, he goes by the name Marvin the Mandolin Man, so it may not come as a surprise that the mandolin plays a significant role on his records. One of the colleagues who contributed to Marvin’s debut album bearing his stage name, was John Kruth, who plays all possible variants of the instrument. He plays the piccolo, mandola, mandocello, mandobass and so on. In this episode we will hear music from his album Banshee Mandolin.
