For years, Darol Anger [see highlighted photo] has been a part of American Roots Music.
He was there when the, by now famous, Turtle Island String Quartet. But this wasn’t his only interesting involvement. He made two albums with the Republic of Strings (photo below), primarily a group of string players but accompanied by some impassioned keyboard players.
