An eclectic and surprising mix by DJ Rafadelic from Utrecht, with beats from all continents. One of the things you will hear is the Malian ‘Imarhan’, a side project by Tinariwen members, who will release an album in April and will come to The Netherlands in May. You will also hear trip-hop by Padma Purana that is influenced by Hindi music, and the galvanising Middle Eastern Dabke with dance beats by Omar Souleyman from Syria. He will be coming on stage at Tivoli/Vredenburg in Utrecht soon. And, the trio Africaine 808, clearly audibly from "Techno capital" Berlin, is also thrown in the mix with their enchanting global electronica.
