A party without borders! Mixed by Thee J Johanz: India’s Invisible Man mix

This week Solta a Franga is compiled and mixed by Thee J Johanz from Groningen: India’s Invisible Man mix.
Story to this mix…
Thee J Johanz is playing live techno acid raga’s with Charanjit Singh all over the world. He has a great Bollywood collection, was DJ-ing for Bombay Connection and mastered their records. His main focus at the moment is deep house and deep techno, but he also loves to take people on a global journey. Latin, African, European, American and Indian music, no borders. Always uplifting and partyrocking. This time his focus is on mainly rare Indian electro disco funk soul beats. Like he played in January this year in Delhi and in December in Bombay.

Thee J Johanz belongs to the first generation of house DJ’s in Holland. He produced and mastered many records. His first releases were on his own Ballyhoo Records and the legendary Irdial Records from London. Under different disguises and his own name he made records for many well-known labels. He is still producing, releasing and DJ’ing. Playing live as Thee J Johanz or with Charanjit Singh live. In Holland he’s always present at festivals like Oerol and Lowlands. In India he recently played a much admired 3hrs DJ set at the end of Magnetic Fields Festival in Rajachstan (India), playing his finest (deep) house and techno.
