The Dutch saxophone player and composer Theo Loevendie (1930) established his Theo Loevendie Consort in 1968, which consisted partly of talented young musicians. This medium-sized ensemble played the free-jazz with more structure than usual at that time, thanks to the compositions of Loevendie. The recordings are from 1969 and 1972.
